Eastern Colorado has it’s ups and downs it’s highs and lows.  We got to hunt last week on a high and a way up.  Somehow I feel lucky, thankful, blessed and was it ever fun.  We hunted HARD for two days finding only does with no signs of the rut and then Mike yelled STOP.  The energy and urgency in his voice was loud and all in the truck knew it was Go time!  Mike made a great shot at 330 yds and dropped the 196″ 40 inches of mass 30 inches wide stunner.  Look for the full story in Sportman’s News the publication of Sportsman’s Warehouse.  Look for the article in Feb. 2008.

We also were able to harvest a super whitetail that Sportsman’s Warehouse is using for their TV commercial you will likely see that buck soon and I’ll post a pic when I have more time.  Also we had 2 management hunters here last week that took their personal bests for mule deer and I’ll get those posted, along with 3 other great whitetails from Colorado.  It’s off to Kansas soon and I won’t be able to update for a month so before I go I’ll get as much update as I can.  Check out the whitetail gallery for some recent Wyoming bucks as well as the commercial whitetail for Sportsman’s Warehouseand I’ll also post the management muley bucks.
