Wes Atkinson
Growing up in Craig, Colorado, Wes spent his days delinquent from most social activities because he’d rather be hunting and fishing. The years he spent with his dad and brother growing up along the Yampa River and in the hills around Craig are some of the best memories of his life. It is from those fun days, and a desire to share the outdoors with others, that he created a thriving outfitting business: Atkinson Expeditions. A recent experience of being in the outdoors with soldiers returning from combat has been life changing for Wes. Feeling grateful for a blessed life of doing what he loves, Forces In The Field was born. He looks forward to the future where more soldiers who come home have a place to hunt and share the land they fought to keep free. |

Mona Doering
A Colorado native, Mona is a wife, mother, artist, hiker, camper and nature lover. A city dweller, she nurtures her lifelong love of the outdoors with daily walks and regular exploration of hiking trails throughout Colorado, usually with her hunter/fisherman husband, Dale. Time in the outdoors allows for a connection to nature that is good for the soul and Mona is grateful for the opportunity to be part of Forces In The Field’s mission to use outdoor experiences to heal and restore. |

Kevin Schuebel
A long time hunting/fishing companion to Wes, Kevin cherishes their friendship and feels honored to be a board member of Forces In The Field. Growing up in northeastern Colorado and then northern Wyoming, Kevin hunted and fished with his father and grandfather. He and his wife, Joyce, have eight adopted children and have fostered many more. One of the greatest joys of life is sharing his love of these sports with his children and anyone else who shows an interest. Kevin takes every opportunity to hunt and fish because he loves to and because there are many growing appetites at home. |
